Streams repopulation activities in Maiella

The repopulation activities of Mediterranean trout have also begun in the STREAMS sites of the Maiella National Park. The embryonated eggs, produced in the CISI hatchery of L’Aquila thanks to genetically selected breeders, were “seeded” by placing the Vibert boxes among the rocks and pebbles on the bottom of the rivers.
