A fish sampling was carried out on the Aterno River in the San Venanzio Gorges Regional Nature Reserve on Monday 4 October by the STREAMS technical-scientific staff of the #parcomaiella.
The aim is to identify genetically suitable reproducers of Salmo cettii useful for increasing the variability of the reproductive stock reared at the Experimental Fish and Hydrobiology Center (CISI) of Aquila.
The activity is also part of action E.2 which provides for the horizontal transfer of good practices in the protected areas of the Natura2000 network sites adjacent to those of the project.
