The monitoring of the technicians of the National Park of the Casentinesi Forests, Monte Falterona and Campigna continues in search of native populations of Mediterranean trout to be able to protect and reproduce. The investigations are now also going beyond the boundaries of the Park, on the Casentino side of the Pratomagno, from where the right tributaries of the upper Arno originate.
Thanks to the authorization of the Tuscany Region and the help of the FIPSAS associations of Forlì, yesterday it was possible to collect information on the structure of the populations of two streams and, at the same time, to collect samples to be genetically analyzed.
