Yesterday the technical-scientific staff of the Maiella Park met the staff of the Umbria Region, which manages the hatchery of Borgo Cerreto (Spoleto-PG), for an exchange of technical information.
The networking morning took place at the Experimental Ichthyogenic and Hydrobiology Center of the Abruzzo Region, managed by the “Amiternum” Integrated Social Cooperative.
The technicians of the Umbria Region and the Regional Forestry Agency of the LIFE IMAGINE project (LIFE19 IPE/IT/000015) participated in the meeting in order to discuss and evaluate alternative approaches in the breeding of Mediterranean trout.
In fact, both projects share the objective of improving the state of conservation of the ichthyofauna of Community importance present in the watercourses of the intervention areas.
