Francesco Curreli, whom we thank from the bottom of our hearts, gives us these wonderful photos taken of an indigenous Sardinian population which, following genetic analyses, was found to be totally pure, completely free from hybridization with the introduced Atlantic trout.
On behalf of our project, with his study group and with the precious help of an expert recreational fisherman who knows the places, Francesco is investigating the populations of native trout not yet registered in some impervious and isolated streams in northern Sardinia.
