In the Montemarcello Magra Vara park on July 13, the last sampling day took place at the Ruschia stream, which is part of the dense water network on the left side of the Vara river.
With a view to genetic analysis, all the trout specimens present in a stretch of 100 meters were captured with the aid of an electric fish catcher. Thus biological samples were taken which will be subjected to genetic investigation in order to identify the degree of autochthony of the trout. After a short stay in suitably perforated tanks for proper oxygenation, all the individuals were released.
