With the day on the Orta, at Roccacaramanico, S. Eufemia in Majella (PE), the 2020 monitoring visit of our project led by LIFE NAT Monitor Noemi Spagnoletti, of NEEMO GEIE – Timesis, ended.
Sampling activities were carried out along a stretch of 100 m and the presence of trout was abundant: 88 specimens sampled with a size between 6 and 34 cm and a weight between 2 and 375 g. From a first observation of the livery, some individuals would seem to belong to our Mediterranean trout.
We thank the leader of the Majella National Park for the exquisite hospitality.
