On the morning of 26 October the technicians of the Sibillini Mountains National Park, together with those of Acquaprogram and Studio naturalistico Hyla, were on the Fosso della Rota, near Montemonaco (AP). They collected exclusively trout, 35 individuals including those less than 10 cm in size, and a specimen of austropotamobius pallipes, pictured.
A good abundance, given the small size of the stream (on average about 1.5 meters). In the afternoon, however, on the Rio Pescia, 60 trout were collected.
