Spawning season has begun!

Between December and January, in most of its range, the Mediterranean trout begins its spawning season. Sexually mature individuals reach the spawning areas located in the most upstream parts of our rivers, where they find flowing, well-oxygenated waters and seabeds suitable for spawning and their development.
