The Municipal Council of Ussita has approved the construction of a hatchery for the reproduction of the Mediterranean trout at the recently renovated Vecchio Mulino.
The project involves the installation of small internal tanks to keep the artificially fertilized eggs and external tanks that will temporarily house the wild breeders selected in the Ussita stream.
